Aureum Golden Full Moon

Aureum is an absolutely stunning maple. It’s a full moon variety with large wide leaves. In spring when it leafs out the yellow-green leaves literally glow! There is really nothing like it. It is one of the last maples to leaf out every year making it a great variety for areas with yearly late frosts. Aureum is relatively slow growing maple. Due to its slow growth we recommend a dryer growing environment for this tree. Fall colors on Aureum don’t disappoint! They can be solid or a kaleidoscope of reds-purples-oranges all at once. Once placed Aureum does not like to be moved.

All our Aureum will arrive potted and will be at least 18” tall

• In general, we recommend all-day dappled shade or full afternoon shade for most Japanese Maples.
