Mikawa yatsubusa is probably everyone’s favorite! The sharply pointed lime green leaves emerge in the spring tightly bunched together, forming a very layered look that resembles shingles on a roof. They slowly turn a darker green. The fall results in a spectacular display of reds and maroons, and is often one of the last trees to change color. The slow growth and compact branching result in a somewhat rounded overall shape for this tree. It is very sculptural, and makes an excellent focal point, potted tree or bonsai.
All of our dwarf 1 gallon Acers will arrive potted and will be 14” or taller.
