Orange Flame

Orange Flame is an upright growing Japanese maple. It is very hardy, and quickly grows. In the spring the new growth leafs out different shades of orange, then fades to a very nice green during the summer. In Autumn the orange returns with a spectacular show of color. This cultivar can handle anywhere from full sun to part shade. Even in the hottest climates. Just remember in afternoon sun, the bark can crack from sunburn and invite canker into the tree, so be careful. 

All our Orange Flame will arrive potted and will be at least 33” tall. 

•Zone 5-9 (more shade required the higher the zone)

• In general, we recommend all-day dappled shade or full afternoon shade for most Japanese Maples.
