Pixie
Acer palmatum Pixie is smaller version of the ever popular ‘Bloodgood’, sporting similar leaves and coloration, just not the size. It should not, however, be confused with a true dwarf. This tree can easily get to be 7’ tall and wide in 10 years, but is still suitable for areas where larger trees would quickly outgrow the space. Pixie leafs out a beautiful deep red in the spring, with the leaves darkening somewhat as they mature. The very dark bark adds to the effect. In the fall, Pixie puts on a spectacular show of fire-engine red!
All our Pixie will arrive potted and will be at least 18” tall
